Decide what to apply for and when.
Then write it in the room.
A 12-month grant roadmap plus the front half of your business plan, written live — guided by someone who has reviewed applications from the evaluator's seat.
What you take home
A calendar that tells you which programs to apply for in which month, and a written Problem–Solution draft you can adapt for each of them.
Ghost-writing your full application, or promises about selection results.
Grant seasons are predictable
Applications fail on timing more often than on writing. Here is the yearly rhythm we map your plan onto.
Early-stage startup grants open
Company profile, financials and evidence documents are assembled here. Teams that start writing in March are already late.
R&D and commercialization programs
The heaviest application window. Reuse the PSST draft you built in the workshop and adapt it per program.
Regional and agency programs
Smaller budgets, lower competition. The right window for first-time applicants to build a track record.
Pre-announcements and next-year prep
Read next year's pre-announcements, fix the gaps the reviewers flagged, and lock your roadmap for the following year.
Four sections, four different jobs
Most rejected plans repeat the same content in all four. Each section has to do its own work.
Problem
State the problem as a number, not an adjective. 'Inefficient' is not a problem statement.
Solution
Show that your approach is the only reasonable response to that number.
Scale-up
Connect the market to your own capacity, not to a global market-size chart.
Team
Prove the team can execute this specific plan, not that it has impressive résumés.
More time writing than listening
How a plan is read from the inside
What a reviewer looks at, in what order, and how long they actually spend on your document.
Build your 12-month roadmap
Map the programs you qualify for onto a calendar and mark the three you will actually apply for.
Write the PSST front half
Problem and Solution written live on the template, with feedback as you write.
Fix list and next steps
Leave with a prioritized list of the evidence and documents you still need.

Before you apply
I have never applied for a government program. Is this too advanced?
No. Roughly half the participants are first-time applicants. We start from which programs you are eligible for.
Will my business plan be finished in the session?
The front half (Problem and Solution) is drafted live. The remaining sections are covered by the template and one round of individual feedback afterwards.
Do I need to bring anything?
A laptop and any existing company or product materials. If you have a previous application, bring it — we will diagnose it.
